Childhood cancer presents many challenges for the child and their family. It affects not only the child but their brothers and sisters, parents, grandparents, friends and the whole community.

Stationary Materials support to Earthquake Affected Regions

June 2015

DVG distributed copies, pencils and school dresses to the children of Earthquake affected areas of Rasuwa District, Dolakha District at the first phase.

International Children's Cancer Day

15th Feb. 2015

DVG celebrated International Children's Cancer Day on February 15th 2015. Cleaning program were performed by BSW Trainee.

MoMO Party Event

DVG organised Momo Party Charity Event "Eat for a Cause" in Star Venue.
The Day was Saturday and the slogan was - Enjoy Delicious momo with slideshows and a cup of tea.

Refreshment Day for Oncology Ward

DVG showed a small play of 20-30 minutes in a Refreshment Day for Oncology Ward, program organised by Kanti Children's Hospital on 20th December 2008 at Sangla, Kathmandu.

Drama as Charity

Conducted at Aarohan Gurukul Dec. 2006

DVG conducted a show of "Master Builder" by Henrik Ibsen, done in its translated format in Nepali "Mahan Shilpikar" as a charity show at Aarohan Gurukul in the year 2006.
In order to raise funds for the aforementioned children and give our NGO the necessary head start the fund raising programme was organized.
The event was successfully conducted with a fair attendance of theatre enthusiasts. To top it all off there were stellar performances.
We received much many positive feedbacks from this activity.

DVG sent Volunteers on Dang

September 2006

Dirghajeevi sent Late Sanjiv and his family (mother and sister) to Dang; their home in 2006, because the doctor had declared a very low possibility of survival of Sanjiv.
We did what we had to, we collected funds as their family has poor financial condition, and sent them home with two of our volunteers Samir Shrestha and Gaj Bahadur Gurung to guide them till their abode.

Cleaning Program

@ Oncology Ward of Kanti Children's Hospital

DVG organizes a cleaning program at the Oncology Ward at Kanti Hospital on a regular basis.
Here all the volunteers get together to clean the ward's floor, wall, rooms, beds, etc.
